In the area where Aubrey and Pilot Point collide sits Caliber Collision.
The business, which opened in May, celebrated its membership in the Pilot Point Chamber of Commerce with a ribbon cutting on Dec. 4.
'We're here for them if they ever need us, even if it's just for an estimate,' General Manager Paul Copley said. 'We'll be there. If they have any questions, they can always call. Our goal is to restore you to the rhythm of your life after a car accident. We know we'll be meeting you on the worst day, and we hope to make it a better situation for you through getting your car repaired.'
He spoke of the growth the business has seen since it opened, and he praised the way his employees work together—'almost like a sports team, Super Bowl-winning.'
'Generally, we either build shops from the ground up or we will convert previous building,' Regional Manager John Casale said.
His purview is the North Texas region. 'We're looking to kind of really be into every ... community that we can get into pretty much as they bump into each other,' Casale said.
The building might be refurbished to fit the business, but the equipment is new and the entire facility can be air conditioned.
'The technicians truly enjoy working here because instead of working at an older facility that's got a lot of older equipment, everything they touch is brand new,' Casale said.
The location is already doing well based on a customer service measurement program recorded across the automotive industry and has exceeded the growth projection of the center.
'We've put a really good team together here,' Casale said. '... A lot of my folks live here. My service advisor lives right down the road, my painter lives right down the—they live right in this Aubrey-Pilot Point community.'
That service advisor is Jack Gudritz, who tries to treat customers with kindness.
'I try to treat everybody like a friend,' he said. '... You never know what someone's going through.'
He's an Aubrey resident who loves going to Pilot Point for events and to support the local businesses, he added.
'It's incredible to know that we have this support here,' Gudritz said.
Chamber Vice President Tracy Glover came to show her support.
'I was just informed that Caliber Collision [Aubrey] holds the platinum status, ... which means 100% satisfaction from its customers already,' she said. '... They have built a beautiful business with a great reputation, and we are proud to have them as members of our Chamber of Commerce.'
