That’s not how I took it
In response to Mr. Harrison/ Mobberly Farms (MF) letter last week, I would like to suggest he took the mayor’s comments out of context.
I’m not defending her comments; perhaps she was the one who didn’t fully explain what she meant.
I’m suggesting that someone who recently settled in Pilot Point, in a new community such as MF for instance, might not fully understand what she might have attempted to convey.
I live just south of the Square in PP and, for example, whenever I have placed a call for city services, I’ve been told all resources are deployed ‘elsewhere’ which even police resources have explained to me means MF.
PP has on average one police officer on any given day and they are assigned to MF.
If you are, like me, in PP ‘proper’ as I call it, you can call 911 on robo and no one will respond.
That’s not to say MF doesn’t deserve services.
It also doesn’t mean they are more deserving than the rest of PP.
