Chaps secure fourth win a row
The Aubrey Chaparrals are riding a four-game winning streak after securing a 61-55 overtime win against the Van Alstyne Panthers on Jan. 3. The win marks the Chaps second district win of the season and brings their record to 2-1 in district play. The Chaps are scheduled to return to the floor against the Frisco-Panther Creek Panthers at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Aubrey.
Tioga Bulldogs lose back-to-back
The Tioga Bulldogs lost both of their back-to-back road games against Muenster and Lindsay. The Bulldogs took a 43-31 loss against the Hornets on Saturday and followed it with a 5743 loss against the Knights on Tuesday, bringing their district record to 1-3. The Bulldogs’ next matchup will be against the Slidell Greyhounds at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Tioga.

The Pilot Point Lady Cats lost 8812 against the Paradise Lady Panthers Tuesday night. The loss brings Pilot Point’s district record to 1-6 on the season. The Lady Cats’ next scheduled matchup will be against the Callisburg Lady Wildcats at 6:30 p.m.

The Lindsay Lady Knights handed the Tioga Lady Bulldogs their second loss in a row with a 54-39 victory Tuesday night. The loss brings Tioga’s district record to 1-5 on the season. The Lady Bulldogs next matchup will be against the Slidell Lady Greyhounds at 6 p.m. Friday in Tioga.
