The Post-Signal's website will soon have a new look.

Set to go live Monday, the new website will offer features including keyword searches in the paper's digital archives, subscriber logins and an interactive e-Edition.

'We're excited to provide our readers with a revamped website that will be easier to use and will provide added value for our digital subscribers,' Post-Signal Editor and Publisher Abigail Allen said.

Existing digital subscribers should expect to receive an email explaining the new system and inviting them to set their password on Monday, when the new version of the website is expected to go live.

Access to the website will remain the same, with the URL still postsignal.com.

Digital subscribers will also still receive an email that provides multiple ways to access the paper—an interactive digital version in a flipbook format or a downloadable PDF file.

Existing print subscribers who want to access the digital copy of the paper will be able to sign up for digital access through the 'Existing Print Subscriber?' button.

'One of the features I am most excited to offer is the access to the searchable archives,' Allen said. 'This will allow our readers to have easy access to almost 10 years of Post-Signal issues from the comfort of their own homes or even on the go via cellphone.'

Access to the paper's physical archives is still available at the Post-Signal office at 111 E. Main St. in Pilot Point.

Allen wanted to express her appreciation for the eType team, who has worked to make the transition possible.

'We want to grow with the area and to ensure that the residents in our communities stay informed about the decisions and events that affect them and their families,' Allen said. 'This updated website access was a goal I've had since long before I became publisher, and I'm so grateful we're able to make this jump to improve the services we can offer our readers.'

If there are any issues with the process, support is available by emailing support@ etypeservices.com.
