Lindlau of Aubrey earns Chancellor’s List

Alyssa Lindlau of Aubrey was named to the fall 2024 Chancellor’s List in the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas. To qualify, students must achieve a 4.0 grade point average for the semester while completing at least 12 credit hours.

Area honorees make President’s Honor Roll

Aubrey students earning the President’s Honor Roll for the fall 2024 semester from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls include: Rofiat Adigun, Jayden Jones and Colton Klingsporn. Students must have completed 12 hours with a grade point average of 4.0 to earn the honor.

Southern New Hampshire University announced the following local students on the fall 2024 President’s List, which required a 3.7 grade point average while earning 12 credits: Jessica Garrett, Tiffany Hubbartt, Nicholas Lambert, Tina Platts, Morgan Pursley, Jose Morataya, Alison Gravley Strickland, and Dustin Wright of Aubrey; Yahaira Holt of Pilot Point; Lindsay Aguilar- Franco of Providence Village; and Justin Pasquale of Savannah.

Local students named to college Dean’s Lists

Local students named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2024 semester include: Donovan Diviney of Aubrey from Greenville University; Laynie Nortman of Krugerville from MidAmerica Nazarene University; Sondra Jones of Pilot Point from Drury University; James Fife of Providence Village and Makenna Porter of Savannah from the University of Texas at Tyler; Rakita Payne of Pilot Point and Rashmitha Tallapalli of Aubrey from the University of Maryland Global Campus; Lacy Loyd of Aubrey from the University of Alabama; Katherine Barnett of Aubrey and Faith Fain of Aubrey from Southern New Hampshire University; Anika Richards of Savannah from Samford University; Olivia Bordere of Aubrey from the University of Evansville; Alyson Staiger of Aubrey from Angelo State University; and Amanda Parks of Tioga from Bob Jones University.

Universities announce fall 2024 graduates

Area students receiving degrees during fall commencement exercises include the following Aubrey residents: Willie Wallenberg, Bachelor of Science in criminal justice from Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas; Krishna Deepthi Kundla, Master of Science in engineering management, and Shahabuddin Mohammed Quadri Syed, Master of Science in engineering management from Trine University in Angola, Indiana; and Rofiat Abidemi Adigun, Bachelor of Science in nursing; Savannah Brook Daanen, Master of Business Administration; Jayden Alexis Jones, Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences; and Thomas O’Brian McAdoo, Bachelor of Science in nursing from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls.

Jaylen Ethan Shaw of Savannah received a Bachelor of Science in education, sport, coaching, lead and administration from Midwestern State University.
