POLICE REPORT

Aubrey Police Department logged 164 calls from Feb. 17-23. Cross Roads Police Department received 31 calls for service between Feb. 17-23. Krugerville Police Department reported calls from Feb. 10-23.

WARRANT – A woman, 33, was arrested by APD on a warrant charge of assault causes bodily injury family violence in the 4300 block of Turnout Trail.

RECKLESS DRIVER – At 2:51 p.m. Sunday, Krugerville police investigated a reckless driver call in the 600 block of Sherry Lane South.

DWI – A man, 42, was arrested by Aubrey police Sunday on a Travis County warrant charge of driving while intoxicated in the 13000 block of Quentin Drive.

TRAFFIC – A Denton man, 31, was arrested by Krugerville PD during a traffic stop for failure to maintain a single lane at 2:45 a.m. Sunday in the 900 block of U.S. 377. Upon talking to the driver, the officer detected the strong odor of alcohol coming from his breath. He also had slurred speech and bloodshot eyes, according to the report. The man was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated and taken to Medical City Denton for a blood draw and then to Denton County Jail. He was released the same day.

POSSESSION – Aubrey PD arrested a man, 36, Sunday on a Dallas County warrant charge of possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams insufficient bond in the 9900 block of High Grade Drive.

WARRANT – A traffi c stop by Krugerville police around 8 p.m. Saturday resulted in the arrest of a Denton man, 37, on a Dallas County warrant charge of fraud use/possession of identifying information near the intersection of U.S. 377 and Arvin Hill Road.

ACCIDENT – Krugerville PD received a call of a vehicle in a ditch at 9:41 p.m. Feb. 21 in the 5200 block of U.S. 377.

UNAUTHORIZED USE – A woman, 49, was arrested Feb. 21 by Aubrey PD on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in the 9500 block of U.S. 377.

INTERFERENCE – On Feb. 21, Aubrey police arrested a man, 22, on charges of interference with child custody and violation of bond/protective order in the 600 block of Main Street.

THEFT – A man, 66, reported Feb. 20 to CRPD that an unknown person had opened a package and taken an iPhone that was being shipped to him in the 2200 block of Moseley Lane.

HARASSMENT – A woman, 52, reported Feb. 20 to Cross Roads police that she was receiving harassing messages and unsolicited merchandise being mailed to her in the 1000 block of Keyes Lane.

ASSAULT – A teenager was arrested Feb. 20 by APD on charges of assault causes bodily injury family violence, continuous violence against family and interference with emergency request for assistance in the 9000 block of Waterman Drive.

CRASH – Cross Roads PD responded to a two-vehicle crash with no report of injury Feb. 19 near the intersection of U.S. 380 and FM 270. One driver left the scene and was located a short time later, according to the report.

CRASH – A two-vehicle accident was investigated Feb. 18 by CRPD near the intersection of U.S. 377 and Fishtrap Road. Two people were injured and taken to the hospital.

PUBLIC INTOXICATION – A man, 24, was arrested by Aubrey police Feb. 18 on a warrant charge of public intoxication in the 2800 block of Ryder Lane.

CRASH – Cross Roads police received a two-vehicle crash report Feb. 17 with no injuries in the 100 block of Naylor Road.

TRAFFIC – Around 9:30 a.m. Feb. 15, KVPD made a traffic stop for no registration sticker in the 5200 block of U.S. 377. Upon contacting the driver, the officer smelled the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. A probable cause search was performed locating a glass pipe containing burnt residue, two burnt hand rolled cigarettes and a vape cartridge believed to be a THC cartridge. The driver was issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia and given two written warnings and a verbal warning.

RECKLESS DRIVER – A reckless driver was reported to Krugerville PD around 6 p.m. Feb. 10 near the intersection of U.S. 377 and Stewart Road.

FORGERY FRAUD – Krugerville police took a call from someone around 5 p.m. Feb. 10 in the 300 block of Dena Lane stating a letter had been received from their insurance company saying they were going to cancel the homeowners insurance because of running a business from the home which is incorrect.
