Aubrey Police Department logged 184 calls from Feb. 24-March 2. Cross Roads Police Department received 35 calls for service between Feb. 24-March 2. Krugerville Police Department reported calls the week of Feb. 24-28.
DWI – A man, 51, stopped for a traffic violation Saturday by CRPD was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated in the 10000 block of U.S. 380.
VIOLATION – A woman, 33, reported to Cross Roads PD on Saturday that her ex-husband was in violation of a protective order in the 5800 block of U.S. 377.
DWI – Aubrey police arrested a man, 39, Feb. 28 on a charge of driving while intoxicated third or more near the intersection of FM 2931 and Lakeview Drive.
SUSPICIOUS PERSON – Krugerville police observed a suspicious person/vehicle around 10 p.m. Feb. 28 in the 4500 block of U.S. 377. Upon speaking to the driver, the officer noticed the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. A probable cause search revealed a cutting tray with marijuana residue. A citation was issued for possession of drug paraphernalia.
CRASH – A man, 21, hit a barricade Feb. 28 near the intersection of U.S. 380 and FM 424. He was injured and taken to the hospital, according to the Cross Roads police report.
ASSAULT – A man, 25, was arrested Feb. 28 by APD on charges of assault causes bodily injury and injury to elderly with intent of bodily injury near the intersection of FM 428 and FM 2931.
ACCIDENT – On Feb. 28, Cross Roads PD responded to a two-vehicle accident with no report of injury near the intersection of U.S. 377 and Fishtrap Road.
CRASH – A two-vehicle crash involving an Aubrey man, 55, and a Valley View man, 69, was dispatched to KVPD at 2:20 p.m. Feb. 27 near the intersection of Ike Byrom Road and U.S. 377. Both drivers exchanged information, and a crash report was completed.
WARRANT – A man, 44, was arrested Feb. 27 by Aubrey PD on a charge of driving while license invalid with previous convictions and a warrant charge of cruelty to nonlivestock animals in the 400 block of West Sherman Drive.
CRASH – A two-vehicle crash with no report of injury was dispatched Feb. 27 to CRPD in the 100 block of Naylor Road.
ASSAULT – A teenager was arrested Feb. 27 by Aubrey PD on a charge of assault causes bodily injury family violence in the 10100 block of Hanover Drive.
THEFT – A man, 49, was arrested by Cross Roads police Feb. 27 on an outside agency warrant in the 11700 block of U.S. 380. He was also given a citation for Class C theft and a criminal trespass notice.
CRASH – Cross Roads PD investigated a hit and run crash Feb. 27 and located the suspect in the 11100 block of U.S. 380.
SHOPLIFTING – A man, 48, was arrested by Cross Roads PD on a charge of shoplifting Feb. 25 in the 11700 block of U.S. 380.
POSSESSION – A man, 20, was issued a citation by CRPD on Feb. 25 for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 11900 block of U.S. 380.
AGENCY ASSIST – At 1:50 p.m. Feb. 25, Krugerville PD assisted an outside agency on a smoke investigation report in the 300 block of Dena Lane.
DWI – A man, 38, was arrested by Aubrey police Feb. 25 on a charge of driving while intoxicated open container near the intersection of FM 2931 and Liberty Circle.
FRAUD – A resident reported to Cross Roads police Feb. 24 that an unknown person attempted to make a purchase using their credit card information.
WARRANT – A woman, 22, was arrested Feb. 24 by Aubrey PD on a warrant charge of stalking in the 10000 block of Cherry Hill Lane.
TRAFFIC – Krugerville police made a traffic stop for speeding around 1 p.m. Feb. 24 in the 9000 block of Ike Byrom Road. The Dallas driver, 26, was arrested on a warrant charge for assault family violence and taken to the Denton County Jail. He was released the next day.
CITATION – A traffic stop investigation Feb. 24 by CRPD resulted in a man, 35, receiving a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 200 block of U.S. 377.
