Aubrey Police Department logged 141 calls from March 17-23. Cross Roads Police Department received 56 calls for service between March 17-23. Krugerville Police Department reported calls the week of March 17-22. Pilot Point Police Department responded to 47calls during the week of March 16-23.
WARRANT – Around 10:30 p.m. Sunday, Krugerville PD made a traffic stop near the intersection of Woodland Drive and U.S. 377. The driver was arrested on a theft warrant charge from Collin County.
SUSPICIOUS PERSON – A suspicious person/vehicle was investigated by Pilot Point police around 9:30 p.m. Sunday in the 6600 block of Auburn Dale Road.
DISTURBANCE – A disturbance was reported to PPPD around 9 p.m. Saturday in the 10200 block of FM 455.
BURGLARY – A woman, 38, was arrested Saturday by Aubrey PD on warrant charges of burglary of habitation and criminal mischief from Dallas County in the 1800 block of Oak Grove Lane.
THEFT – A woman, 56, reported to CRPD on Saturday that she unintentionally left several hundred dollars in cash as she pulled away from an ATM machine in the 11000 block of U.S. 380. When she tried to retrieve it, the man who pulled up to the machine behind her took the money and left, according to the report.
ASSAULT – A man, 49, was arrested by Aubrey police Saturday on a charge of assault causes bodily injury family violence in the 900 block of Adair Drive.
TRAFFIC – Krugerville police made a traffic stop Saturday for no license plates in the 200 block of Ranch Road. The driver had no driver’s license, and the vehicle was not registered. He was issued a citation for illegal dumping.
RETAIL THEFT – A woman, 21, was arrested March 21 by Cross Roads PD on a charge of retail theft in the 11700 block of U.S. 380.
CRASH – A man, 20, was arrested March 21 by APD on a charge of an accident involving damage to a vehicle $200 or more near the intersection of Michelle Street and Chestnut Street.
VERBAL DISAGREEMENT – Cross Roads police officers responded to a verbal disagreement March 21 in the 1400 block of FM 424.
CRASH – A two-vehicle crash with no report of injury was reported to CRPD on March 20 in the 11500 block of U.S. 380.
RECKLESS DRIVER – A reckless driver was investigated by Pilot Point police at 6:45 a.m. March 21 near the intersection of FM 455 and Tischler Road.
THEFT – A woman, 31, was arrested March 20 by Cross Roads PD on a charge of retail theft and issued a criminal trespass warning.
CRASH – Cross Roads police responded to a two-vehicle crash March 19 with no report of Injury near the intersection of U.S. 380 and Moseley Road.
CRASH – On March 19, a two-vehicle crash occurred in the 15000 block of U.S. 380 with one person being transported to the hospital, according to the CRPD report.
WELFARE CONCERN – At 11:55 p.m. March 18, KVPD observed a parked vehicle with the brake lights on in the 700 block of U.S. 377. Upon contacting the driver, a DWI investigation was performed. The man, 53, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated. He was taken to Medical City Denton for a blood draw and then to the Denton County Jail. He was released the same day.
DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE – A domestic disturbance was reported to PPPD around 4:30 p.m. March 18 in the 14000 block of Haggerston Drive.
CRASH – A four-vehicle accident was investigated by Cross Roads police March 18 in the 3200 block of U.S. 380. No injuries were reported.
EVADING ARREST – A man, 28, was arrested March 18 by Cross Roads PD on a charge of evading arrest/ detention after allegedly threatening a person with a gun in the 7300 block of U.S. 377.
ASSAULT – Pilot Point police responded to an assault call at 3:19 p.m. March 17 in the 1200 block of South U.S. 377.
TRAFFIC – At 2:37 p.m. March 17, KVPD made a traffic stop for no license plate. Upon speaking to the driver, the officer noticed the odor of burnt marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. A probable cause search located a grinder, rolling papers and multiple burnt marijuana cigarettes near the intersection of Surveyors Road and U.S. 377. He was issued one citation and three warnings.
CRASH – A two-vehicle crash was dispatched to CRPD with no report of injury March 17 in the 100 block of Naylor Road.
