Zandra Lee Bean
Zandra Lee Bean

For over 40 years, Zandra called Texas home, settling in Pilot Point in 2001. A successful business owner, she was known for her dedication, resilience, and the unwavering passion she brought to everything she pursued. However, her greatest devotion was always to animals—especially horses and dogs.
Over the past two decades, Zandra became increasingly involved in animal rescue, working with Miles of Hope, an organization in Denton County, to find loving homes for countless dogs. Thanks to her tireless efforts and generous support, many animals received the veterinary care, nutrition, and second chances they so desperately needed.
She is survived by her mother, Norma Stevens Crocker; brothers Steve and Ron Watterson; sister Sheila Kitchen. She will be missed by her beloved stepsister, Cheryl Cody and niece Savannah Magoteaux. In addition to her family, she leaves behind a large and cherished circle of friends and loved ones who will celebrate her life at a gathering this spring.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to Miles of Hope at http://milesofhope.net/, ensuring that her legacy of compassion continues. Zandra’s kindness, dedication, and love for animals will never be forgotten. She made the world a better place, and her spirit will live on in the lives she touched.
